ABOUT THE GALLERY

Our Story

The COVID Collection was founded in 2020 for a multitude of purposes by Stuyvesant High School student Esteak Shapin from Brooklyn, New York. This collection aims to capture and depict the unusual and difficult lifestyle brought on by a global pandemic as well as showcase the artistic abilities of the younger generation. All the art pieces in this collection have been created and submitted by students scattered throughout the city, who are looking to use this medium to exhibit their abilities and share their experiences during these unfamiliar times. Additionally, all the proceeds from this collection will be donated to help fund art programs in the city as well as organizations fighting in the front line of this pandemic.
